The much-advertised farting contest in Surat closed on Sunday, 22nd September. Like all other contests, there were judges, trophies and a stage to perform. The main thing missing was the members.
As per a report by TOI, of the 200 people who enlisted for the farting contest from crosswise over India and abroad, just three appeared.
None of them could perform on the stage, and along these lines, the coordinators chose to give away the prizes to each of the three members.
One of the members, Vishnu Heda, who exited with a money prize of ₹2,500 and a fragrant hamper, was an inhabitant of Surat itself.
Conversing with TOI, he stated:
“I didn’t do anything.”
Another member, Sushil Jain, who voyaged void stomach for an hour right from Bholardi couldn’t perform, even after three endeavours.
Yatin Sangoi, the coordinator of the farting contest, named it as “performance pressure”.
Reports propose that the guests at the setting were likewise the planned participants. However, they were excessively bashful to farting contest. Numerous ladies had additionally enlisted for the farting competition, yet none of them came up.
